About Eternaglo
Hey there! Thanks for checking out Eternaglo. My name’s Cameron, and I’m the guy behind this project. Eternaglo started out in 2022 after I decided to add permanent addressable LED lighting to my home. What I thought would be simple turned into a frustrating deep dive into DIY electronics. I ended up cobbling together an ESP board, a breadboard, and other PCB accessories to make a working controller. While it worked great, I realized most people wouldn’t want to go through all that hassle just to get started.
That experience inspired me to create Eternaglo—a simpler, more accessible way to bring smart LED lighting to everyone. My goal is to provide high-quality, easy-to-use products paired with excellent documentation so anyone can dive into the world of addressable LEDs without needing an electrical engineering degree.
Fast forward nearly three years, and Eternaglo is finally here! Why so long? Well, this has been a passion project that I’ve mostly built in my spare time. The research, the board requirements, the branding, the website, the photos and videos, the documentation, and much of the board testing have been done by me, and that's required a lot of time and effort. I’ve also been fortunate to work with an extremely talented PCB designer who brought my ideas to life. Together, we’ve taken the required time to ensure our products are reliable, feature-rich, and tested thoroughly. This means prototypes, testing, revisions, new prototypes, more testing, and so forth. Unfortunately it hasn't been a quick process.
Eternaglo is still in its early days, but we’re starting strong with a focus on quality and customer experience. Every product is designed to make smart lighting fun, accessible, and worry-free. I hope for Eternaglo to eventually be a resource for much more than just controllers, making smart LED lighting more accessible than ever.
